Questions about Medicare Savings referral fees

Why refer Medicare Savings?
We are referred by beneficiaries, U.S Employers with Medicare-Eligible employees & retiree groups/associations. We have even been referred by 1-800-MEDICARE call centers in the past.**Medicare Savings is a non-government retiree resource & independent brokerage that is not endorsed by U.S. government** However, our brokerage services are liked by many 😁 retirees.

What is the referral fee amount?
The amount of the referral fee varies by product but generally ranges from $25 to $100.

What happens if a client I referred to you refers one of his or her friends or family members?
You get paid for that referral, too! The more you refer and the more those referred clients refer, the more you get paid!

Is direct deposit available?
Not at this time.

Does Medicare Savings charge a fee to me or my client?
No. Our services are free of charge to you, your friends, your family and your clients who are Medicare-Eligible.

For what products can I refer my friends, family or clients?
Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage health insurance plans. There is no referral fee for Part D drug plans.

Do I get a referral fee for simply sending clients your way, and do you pay referral fees on all the products you sell?
Referral fees are only paid for those Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage policies that are issued and paid by the carrier or affiliate. We do not pay referral fees on Medicare Part D prescription drug plans.

When is the referral fee paid?
We will pay you the month after the policy is issued and effective. We are paid by the carrier/insurance company so that is why our service is no-additional cost.

How are referral fee payments issued?
If you registered as an independent agent or advisor — meaning you are a licensed agent or advisor affiliate with Medicare Savings -- a check is issued directly to you or your entity. (If you put your Social Security number on the W-9, the check is issued in your name. If you put your employer identification number, the check is issued in that entity’s name.)

What if I cannot receive a referral fee because I’m not a licensed agent, an RIA or I don’t want to receive a referral fee?
You do not have to receive a referral fee. Just let us know. However, if we cannot compensate with a referral fee as least allow us to send an email for $25 e-gift card for helping your friends and family.

Do you pay me a commission when a client renews a policy?
No. Referral fees are paid one time per client.

Do I receive a commission statement?
Yes if you are licensed agent or advisor. You will receive a statement showing your client’s name, the product type purchased, the carrier and the amount of referral paid.

What if I haven’t received a statement?
Send an email to Mike@MedicareSavings.US or call 1-888-608-0654 Option 3. Provide your name and the name of your client.  We will research to make sure that the policy has been issued, is effective and that we have been paid by the carrier.
